Reservation Policies
Upon booking, 25% of the total rental amount will be charged, with the remaining amount due upon arrival and check-in,EXCEPT FOR HOLIDAY DATES we will be reaching out to you within 1 week prior to your departure date to charge the remaining 75% of your booking total to your card on file.
The lessee will be required to leave a credit card authorization and/or deposit at Cedar Grove Marine, LLC shipstore until rental boat has been timely returned and checked out by Cedar Grove Marine, LLC management. The authorization will be released and/or the deposit will be refunded upon successful check in
*Rentals leave with a full tank of fuel and the renter is responsible for refueling upon check-in. Renter is responsible for any fuel required to bring the tank back to full upon return.
We want everyone to enjoy Norris Lake with safe and courteous boating. The policies and regulations of Cedar Grove Marina in conjunction with TWRA rules are as follows: Please review carefully.
1. NO WAKE in HARBOR ZONES 2. Children of 12ys and younger are not permitted to operate rental boats. 3. There will be a maximum of 12 persons per boat and under the maximum weight limit of the boat. 4. There will be a maximum of 8 persons in ski boats. 5. Passengers must always sit still in seats. 6. No grilling 7. No fireworks. 8. No firearms. 9. There must be rental receipt in boats and licensed boat operator. 10. No pets allowed. There will be a $50 extra pet fee charged per pet if allowed on board rental boats. 11. There will be a $50 per hour charge for any late returns on all rentals (excluding houseboats). There will be a $100 per hour charge for any late returns on houseboats. To avoid this charge all rentals should be at the dock and unloaded by their scheduled return time.
In accordance with TWRA rules there must be a system check for workable light and horn. There must be a min # of life vest as the # of passengers aboard vessel. There must be a throwable float pillow. The boat must have a fire extinguisher, paddle and anchor.
ATTENTION YOUNG BOATERS!
Any Tennessee resident born after Jan 1, 1989 must show the TWRA-issued wallet Boating Safety Education Certificate as proof of successful completion of the TWRA Boating System Exam.
CANCELLATION POLICY (EFFECTIVE 4/1/2024)
Recreational boats/watercrafts: ALL cancellations must be emailed to [email protected] a minimum of 72 hours prior to the reservation start date/time to receive a refund of the 25% deposit.
Houseboats: ALL cancellations must be emailed to [email protected] and refunds/charges will be assessed as follows:
Cancellation emailed a minimum of 60 days prior to the reservation date/time will receive a refund of the 25% deposit.
Any houseboat cancellation less than 60 days prior to the reservation date will forfeit their 25% deposit ($500 minimum).
Any houseboat cancellation less than 30 days prior to the reservation date will forfeit the 25% deposit AND be charged the full rental fee should Cedar Grove be unable to rent the boat for the cancelled days.
Cancelation of bookings made for Holiday weekends: There will be NO refunds of deposits for cancelations made to bookings scheduled over major holiday weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) regardless of when you cancel.
